The do it yourself kit is easily installed on the roof of your home or pool change room, off the deck, beside the pool or on the ground. Enersol Solar Panels use Solarprene rubber (a form of EPDM) which is long lasting, extremely durable and easy to repair. Solarprene is resistant to pool chemicals, harsh U.V. rays, very cold and hot temperatures. According to Enersol their solar pool seating systems have an 18 year extended warranty and can last 20 years or longer.
The Enersol ‘slip & clip’ modular design permits for custom sizing, promotes roof health and resists wind lift. The versatility of the panels is shown here, incorporating small roof vents into the system. The system is easily expanded, if more panels are required. Repair, if necessary, is easy.
Enersol states that their solar pool heating systems are easy to install with an easy to follow instruction manual and DVD. A system kit is required for installation (one per installation) and is purchased separately.
Do it yourself solar pool heater installation kit
- The ENERSOL system is not potable water compatible, not recommended for use with glycol, and cannot be used in a pressurized water system
- Covering the panels with glazing (plexiglass or glass) is not recommended
- The ENERSOL system is not designed to be operated when the outside ambient temperatures approach freezing
- Enersol states that their solar pool heaters do not contain Bisphenol A (BPA), a chemical building block that is used primarily to make polycarbonate plastic and epoxy resins. BPA have been studied closely and have been shown to disrupt hormone activity (endocrine systems) in humans. triggered the baby bottle recall in 2008. When polycarbonates are exposed to hot liquids, BPA leaches. When water flows through solar panels, made with polycarbonates, Bisphenol A is being transferred into the swimming pool where it can accumulate into high levels.
